Anti-poisoning Dog Units

Illegal poisoning through toxic substances like pesticides is a serious threat to endangered wildlife (like vultures, wolves, foxes etc.), livestock, pets and even unsuspected civilians. That illegal practice is a wide spread problem in the country side and wilderness often targeting predator type of wildlife like wolves and bears as well as feral dogs but definitely does not discriminate through its victims. The paramount need for speeding up the clearance of toxic substances from the country side brings working dogs to the fore since some of the victims are species threatened with extinction. Our working dogs are highly trained to detect baits containing toxic substances as well as wildlife, livestock and pet carcasses contaminated with a toxic substance. The use of an Anti-poisoning Dog Unit is contributing to surveys for wildlife conservation, clearing areas contaminated with poisoned baits and carcasses and demotivates poisoning  individuals by our team’s presence on the field.
